Ultimate Cosplay:The Walking Dead of Anime

Last August 11, 2013 at SM City Calamba a huge event was held and been participated by tons of anime fans,from all parts of Laguna people have gathered to witness this first time event in which all of the participants dressed up as their favorite anime and mimic their actions to be declared as the ultimate
cosplayer in the land.

Ultimate Cosplay is the event that was held at the ground floor of SM City Calamba, and if you were there, you will think to yourself that you might have been transported into a world that has Naruto,Chun-Li,Mai Shiranui and among others really do exist due to the great portrayals of the contestants.

Just so you know,Cosplay came from the word "Kosupure" or short for "costume play", is an activity in which participants wear costumes and accessories to represent a specific characteror idea from a work of fiction. Cosplayers often interact to create a subculture centered on role play. A broader use of the term cosplay applies to any costumed role play in venues apart from the stage, regardless of the cultural context.
The Internet has enabled many cosplayers to create social networks and websites centered around cosplay activities, while forums allow cosplayers to share stories, photographs, news, and general information. The rapid growth in the number of people cosplaying as a hobby since 1990 has made the phenomenon a significant aspect of popular culture. This is particularly the case in Asia, where cosplay influences Japanese street fashion. 

Overall, this event was indeed a big hit and we are hoping that more will come in the future in this side of the province to attend and participate,who knows you might be the next iron man?
