Tecno Phantom N9 Tablet

Tecno - Mobile company have made their presence felt in Nigeria and they are determined to go head to head with Samsung to see that they grab their share of the Nigerian market when it comes to smartphones. Already, they have highjacked lower end sales of phones from Nokia and they are now ready to move head on to the Smartphone battle ground as far as Nigeria is concerned.

Recently, it was the release of Tecno N7 that people couldn't stop talking about due to what was packed into the smartphone. However, they didn't stop there, they move on to produce Tecno Phantom A which was even more dashing than Tecno N7 due to its specifications which is twice as better than the N7.

Now, Tecno have moved on to produce its first Tablet known has the Tecno Phantom N9 Pad. See the images below with more on the way soon.

This pad is a 8 inch white sleek body tablet running Android Jelly Bean 4.2.1 with Kernel version 3.4.5. Its a quad core 1.2GHz CPU tablet with 5mp rear camera and 2.0mp front camera.

For now, only the white version is available. It has a silver back plat with speakers and camera embedded.

Below are the detailed Specifications of this tablet and it is scheduled to be released by end of June.

Pros: Its running Android Jelly Bean, camera is good, RAM and ROM are good and the price is considerate

Cons: Battery life for tab should be higher, Resolution is not HD

Verdict

Its not bad. Its going to be a welcome device and am sure Nigerians would by it, especially those that want a tablet and don't want to spend so much to get an iPad or a Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0.

Tecno Phantom A (Tecno F7) Smartphone full specification & Features

We have not yet gotten over the Tecno N7 smartphone that was released early this year with nice features and specification combined with a small price tag and yet a even better Tecno smartphone is here again with even better specifications and features.

This new smartphone is called Tecno phantom A or Tecno F7.

Tecno F7 Phantom A1 Android Smartphone

This phone is superb and wonderful in use. In fact after using it for 5 mins you would hiss at Tecno N7. HD Games like Asphalt 6, FIFA 2012, Modern Combat 4: zero hour etc run smoothly.

It's thinner than Tecno N7, High Definition screen and with a better finish than its predecessor. Available in both Black and white, this smartphone is easily cherished.

Not to talk too much, I present you with the specifications below for your consumption.

Infinix X450 Android Smartphone: Specifications & Features

Infinix X450 is yet another Android smartphone for low income earners just like the Tecno N7 smartphone from Tecno Mobile industry. However, Infinix is a native French company. This device is for those that want to have a taste of Android but don't want to spend so much.

Although, not so different from Tecno N7 that was released by the Tecno Mobile company, yet this phone will give you that experience you crave.

Infinix X450 is in the league of the Tecno N7, but lighter, slimmer, less wider and with a better camera and resolution. Aside that, which is what in a way, gives it an edge over Tecno N7, its not so different from its counterpart.

With the specifications and features that it comes with coupled with the price, I believe it shouldn't infuriate some die hard specs fan

These specification and features are listed below. So if you feel like not spending much and still want to enjoy a fairly decent Android smartphone, you could opt for this Infinix X450 smartphone.

Resolution is still small should have been increased
It should have come with at least Android 4.1 Jelly Bean instead of the 4.0.4 ICS
Battery life is smaller compared to Tecno N7 although mitigated by the smaller screen siz.
Possibility of operating system upgrades are low

The Pros:

Camera is very good compared to the Infinix X350
Its light weight
Its affordable
Its easily rootable

Tecno N7 Smartphone full Specifications & Features with Video

TECNO is the brand that have overtaken Nigeria by storm when it comes to phone sales. The prices of TECNO phones are very low compared to other kinds of phones with the same specs and function.

In fact, Nokia that used to dominate phone market in Nigeria, has lost huge market share and have been replaced by tecno phones in the hands of low and middle class income earners.

Of course TECNO phones have always been though of as a silly China phone, but with the series of smartphones been released by this company e.g TECNO N3, D5 etc, one will say that the game is on especially with the new TECNO N7.

Have been asked by many people if I had seen the new and latest Tecno N7 smartphone developed by Tecno Mobile Industries, and I have always replied that I have not only seen but am presently using one.

In case you don't know, Tecno N7 is the latest and highest range smartphone made by Tecno Mobile and below are the specs and features of the device including a video here.

NOTE: 4GB ROM comes with 512mb RAM but the 2GB ROM comes with 750mb RAM

Price: Price is between 29 - 30k in Naira. Slot a phone store located at Ikeja, computer village, sells for N30, 000, while some other stores sells for N31, 000. However I bought mine at another Tecno shop for N29, 000

It comes pre-installed with Whatsapp, Google+, Bible, Quran, Facebook, Twitter, Asphalt 6, Angry Birds etc. and I have installed AVG anti virus, Temple Run 2, Skype, Viber etc on it.

Am currently using this device and I can say that the price is okay. I have also included images so that u can see it for yourself.

This device is okay but not without a down side.
The down side is in the screen resolution and RAM space. I believe that TECNO should have increased the RAM to 1.0GB instead of its 512mb and also, the screen resolution should have been around 1200 x 1200 due to screen size.
RAM issue is noticeable when a lot of apps are running in the background, and you try playing a game like Asphalt 6, it could hang for a while and get back into play. However, when some apps are stopped, game play is seamless and enjoyable.

This device is rootable. In fact Wondershare Mobile Go sees this device as HTC TECNO.

Obviously, a higher version of TECNO N7 will show up soon enough and I would like to trade in this N7 for that.

Obviously, the game is on for smartphone makers. If TECNO can come up with something as good as this, then we are sure that even better devices and tablet are in the works and would be released soon.
