I got a couple of mails requesting the easiest method to root Tecno N7. It took quite some time to finally decide this is the best method and I am happy to share it with users of Tecno N7 who have dreamt of seeing the "Super User" in their app drawer. Immediately after you complete the procedure below, that dream will automatically become a reality.

Hint:
1. Enable USB Debugging on your device.
2. Create a backup.
3. Ensure you have a min. battery level of 60%.
4. Your device must be factory Unlocked.

Note: Rooting your device will void your warranty. However warranty can be restored by unbricking your device. The method is specifically for Tecno N7. Using this on other devices may brick it.
5 Easy Steps To Root Tecno N7
1. Download and install unlockrootto your PC
2. Connect your generic USB cable from your Tecno N7 to your PC.
3. Open unlockroot in your PC, Select Techno N7.
4. Once the process is complete, disconnect from PC and restart your Smartphone.
5. Now check the SUPER USER or SUPER SU app in the app drawer.

If you find it then it means the process is successful and your Tecno N7 is rooted successfully.
You own your Smartphone, but now you have total control over everything that comes in and goes out of your Tecno N7..... ENJOY!!!
